2 nights ago at like 1am my kids and I were laying in the drive way learning about the stars and how God knows how many stars are in the heaven and all their names. My daughter has informed me that some of them have two names because God named them and people name them as well.
Gotta love kids
We also found rocks and threw them down the street to see how far they would go. You can’t do that during the day so it was fun. We jumped around like crickets and hunted for other insects. In short we had a great time at 1am outside and then slept in. You can’t do that if you have to drop the babies off at 7am
Last night I was playing on the Little Einsteins site with my toddler and my husband and I were trying to figure out if the music was Tchaikovsky or not and my 10 year old comes in and says “No its Beethoven, Its one of my favorite songs”. How cool is that. How many 10 year olds willingly listen to classical music, let alone know which composer wrote it?
Some Fun things we do in our homeschooling that my kids love:
We listen to classical music on low sound while we do our lessons, I think it sets a good tone in the room.
I tell my girls who the composer is and we play that for a few days and my oldest has been able to tell me who the different composers are and which ones she likes best. I love that!
I know some parents like to sit and read while their kids do hand crafts and what not but I like to be down there with them sewing, crocheting, coloring or whatever so I play books on CD instead and my oldest one LOVES it. She would rather listen to a book on CD then watch TV YAY! The only bad thing is if we didn’t get enough CD’s from the library and we can’t get back there right away she will listen to the same book over and over until we get a new one.
and it furthered my love for homeschooling. I can choose what my kids learn and how they learn it. I do not believe that a calculator should be used in learning math at all.
Don’t get me wrong I like having a calculator handy if I am trying to do an equation that requires some “working out” real quick but for 4X6 seriously.
Well anyway I hope you all have a blessed day!

Pro 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth [cometh] knowledge and understanding.
Psa 61:3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, [and] a strong tower from the enemy.
Pro 18:10 The name of the LORD [is] a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
My song choice for this week is Strong Tower by Kutless. I just love this song. The last few weeks have been tough to say the least and this song has really comforted me and reminded me that no matter what I can run into the shelter of my Lords arms and be safe.
"Strong Tower"
Kutless
When I wander through the desert
And I’m longing for my home
All my dreams have gone astray
When I’m stranded in the valley
And I’m tired and all alone
It seems like I’ve lost my way
I go running to Your moutain
Where your mercy sets me free
[chorus]
You are my strong tower
Shelter over me
Beautiful and mighty
Everlasting King
You are my strong tower
Fortress when I’m weak
Your name is true and holy
And Your face is all I seek
In the middle of my darkness
In the midst of all my fear
You’re my refuge and my hope
When the storm of life is raging
And the thunder’s all I hear
You speak softly to my soul
[chorus]
I go running to Your moutain
Where your mercy sets me free
Today I need to
make a cake for the babies birthday tomorrow
Finish Sewing her birthday dress and Doll
Go to the bank
Finish up this year curriculum for school we are studying creation I am sure there is more
I need to do but I can’t think right now. I havn’t had any coffee yet.
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Psa 8:2
Yesterday I was thinking a lot of praise and worship and the power it has in our lives. So when we were going to bed I put passions one day live on and then prayed with my children. While I was laying with my baby (she will be 2 on Sunday) she yelled Jesus (sounded like dedus) and then raised her hands in the air and yelled WOOHOO! then started dancing in the bed it was so cute and It blessed my heart immensely.
Children are not inhibited in their praise because they don’t understand that doctrines say not to dance or shout. They don’t fear what others will think of them or that they are not “in the Spirit” they just do what comes natural to them dance, clap, shout and love the Lord.
I think thats a lesson we could all learn. The awesome thing is that as adults we have all sinned and know that we have sinned and we know what the Lord has done for us so we should clap and shout and dance and praise him with out inhibition because he saved us from ourselves and from Hell.
We no longer carry the curse of sin and death. WOOHOO!!!
anyway I will not get on my soap box I just think kids are awesome and that we can learn so much from them if we take the time to notice
Pro 1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
Pro 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
Pro 1:3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
Pro 1:4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
Pro 1:5 A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
Pro 1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Pro 1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
Pro 1:9 For they [shall be] an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
Pro 1:10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
Pro 1:11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
Pro 1:12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
Pro 1:13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
Pro 1:14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
Pro 1:15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
Pro 1:16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
Pro 1:17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
Pro 1:18 And they lay wait for their [own] blood; they lurk privily for their [own] lives.
Pro 1:19 So [are] the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; [which] taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
Pro 1:20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
Pro 1:21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, [saying],
Pro 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Pro 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
Pro 1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
Pro 1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
Pro 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
Pro 1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Pro 1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Pro 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
Pro 1:30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
Pro 1:31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
Pro 1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
Pro 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Pro 6:1 MY son, if you become surety for your friend,
If you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger,
Pro 6:2 You are snared by the words of your mouth;
You are taken by the words of your mouth.
Pro 6:3 So do this, my son, and deliver yourself;
For you have come into the hand of your friend:
Go and humble yourself;
Plead with your friend.
Pro 6:4 Give no sleep to your eyes,
Nor slumber to your eyelids.
Pro 6:5 Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter,
And like a bird from the hand of the fowler.[fn1]
Pro 6:6 Go to the ant, you sluggard!
Consider her ways and be wise,
Pro 6:7 Which, having no captain,
Overseer or ruler,
Pro 6:8 Provides her supplies in the summer,
And gathers her food in the harvest.
Pro 6:9 How long will you slumber, O sluggard?
When will you rise from your sleep?
Pro 6:10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to sleep–
Pro 6:11 So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.
Pro 6:12 A worthless person, a wicked man,
Walks with a perverse mouth;
Pro 6:13 He winks with his eyes,
He shuffles his feet,
He points with his fingers;
Pro 6:14 Perversity is in his heart,
He devises evil continually,
He sows discord.
Pro 6:15 Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly;
Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.
Pro 6:16 These six things the LORD hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
Pro 6:17 A proud look, A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
Pro 6:19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
Pro 6:20 My son, keep your father’s command,
And do not forsake the law of your mother.
Pro 6:21 Bind them continually upon your heart;
Tie them around your neck.
Pro 6:22 When you roam, they[fn2] will lead you;
When you sleep, they will keep you;
And when you awake, they will speak with you.
Pro 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp,
And the law a light;
Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,
Pro 6:24 To keep you from the evil woman,
From the flattering tongue of a seductress.
Pro 6:25 Do not lust after her beauty in your heart,
Nor let her allure you with her eyelids.
Pro 6:26 For by means of a harlot
A man is reduced to a crust of bread;
And an adulteress[fn3] will prey upon his precious life.
Pro 6:27 Can a man take fire to his bosom,
And his clothes not be burned?
Pro 6:28 Can one walk on hot coals,
And his feet not be seared?
Pro 6:29 So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife;
Whoever touches her shall not be innocent.
Pro 6:30 People do not despise a thief
If he steals to satisfy himself when he is starving.
Pro 6:31 Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold;
He may have to give up all the substance of his house.
Pro 6:32 Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding;
He who does so destroys his own soul.
Pro 6:33 Wounds and dishonor he will get,
And his reproach will not be wiped away.
Pro 6:34 For jealousy is a husband’s fury;
Therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
Pro 6:35 He will accept no recompense,
Nor will he be appeased though you give many gifts
Pro 5:1 MY son, pay attention to my wisdom;
Lend your ear to my understanding,
Pro 5:2 That you may preserve discretion,
And your lips may keep knowledge.
Pro 5:3 For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey,
And her mouth is smoother than oil;
Pro 5:4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood,
Sharp as a two-edged sword.
Pro 5:5 Her feet go down to death,
Her steps lay hold of hell.[fn1]
Pro 5:6 Lest you ponder her path of life–
Her ways are unstable;
You do not know them.
Pro 5:7 Therefore hear me now, my children,
And do not depart from the words of my mouth.
Pro 5:8 Remove your way far from her,
And do not go near the door of her house,
Pro 5:9 Lest you give your honor to others,
And your years to the cruel one;
Pro 5:10 Lest aliens be filled with your wealth,
And your labors go to the house of a foreigner;
Pro 5:11 And you mourn at last,
When your flesh and your body are consumed,
Pro 5:12 And say:
"How I have hated instruction,
And my heart despised correction!
Pro 5:13 I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers,
Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!
Pro 5:14 I was on the verge of total ruin,
In the midst of the assembly and congregation."
Pro 5:15 Drink water from your own cistern,
And running water from your own well.
Pro 5:16 Should your fountains be dispersed abroad,
Streams of water in the streets?
Pro 5:17 Let them be only your own,
And not for strangers with you.
Pro 5:18 Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice with the wife of your youth.
Pro 5:19 As a loving deer and a graceful doe,
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
And always be enraptured with her love.
Pro 5:20 For why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman,
And be embraced in the arms of a seductress?
Pro 5:21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD,
And He ponders all his paths.
Pro 5:22 His own iniquities entrap the wicked man,
And he is caught in the cords of his sin.
Pro 5:23 He shall die for lack of instruction,
And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

I hope that you all have a happy independence day! Today as you celebrate freedom remember to
Pray for our country.
Pray for our freedom.
Pray for our soldiers and their families!
Pray for our government
Pray for the up comming elections
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
2Cr 10:3-5 (NKJV)
Therefore if the Son makes you free,
you shall be free indeed.
John 8:36 (NKJV)
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
